Our focus when you work with us is to make sure we match you with families who will truly value and respect you. We will negotiate everything you are looking for on your behalf so you can relax while you find your perfect fit. We have a vision to elevate and empower nannies so they can shine in their work, and we thank you for taking us with you on your journey to do so.
Requirements
In order to be placed with one of our families, you must meet the following requirements:
*Have a minimum of three years of professional childcare experience (can include teaching; one year must include experience as a nanny in a private home)
*Be legally authorized to work in the US
*Live in New York City or surrounding area, or have proof of housing you are moving into in the areas described
*Have excellent childcare references (minimum of two, one must be recent)
*Be willing to make a one-year commitment to a family (does not apply to Temporary Care Nannies or Infant Care Specialists)
*CPR Certified (or willing to get certified before hire)
*Nonsmoker
*Twenty-one Years of Age or Older
*Professional appearance
Background Check/Social Media Review
All nannies must be willing to complete a criminal background check in order to join Nanny Knows Best. We also check our candidates on social media to make sure everything looks professional and there are no concerns.

Next, we will confirm how amazing you are by contacting your references and performing a background check which includes your Social Media review.
Meet and Interview

Next we will create your profile. This and your resume will be submitted to families who we feel will be a good match for you.

Interviews - We will help you set up your virtual interviews with the families that engage with your profile. We are here to support you along the way.
Trial & placement
When you and a Family are feeling a strong connection, you'll go on a trial period which allows you to show your super nanny skills in action! Should both parties decide to move forward, we'll negotiate all contract details and then you are placed!
